How ADM re:source Opens Up Export Opportunities for Producers

A new initiative to keep producers competitive globally
Share:

Export markets remain as important as ever for North American soybean producers. Every year, roughly half of the domestic soybean crop is exported to global markets. In the 2022/23 marketing year, U.S. soy exports reached a value of $39.8 billion, representing an important source of revenue for producers.

That’s why ADM continues to take proactive steps to ensure producers enjoy the benefits of continued access to global export markets. We are always looking for ways to partner with producers and serve as a resource to help them navigate changes to the regulatory and consumer preference landscape amid ongoing efforts to minimize food production’s climate impact.

ADM re:source: expanding opportunities

Our latest initiative, ADM re:source, is designed to help producers capture the opportunity that comes from participating in more sustainable global supply chains.

Building on the success of ADM re:generations, which rewards producers for adopting or continuing with regenerative ag practices, ADM re:source rewards producers for working with us to remain competitive globally.

By offering financial and technical assistance to producers as they strive to adapt, ADM re:source ensures producers maintain export market access so they can capture the opportunity of participating in more sustainable global supply chains.

Supporting producers’ legacies

“At ADM, our future and success depend on the farmers we work with and for, which is why we’re committed to helping support their businesses and their legacies by ensuring that global markets remain open to U.S. agricultural products,” says Matt Hopkins, ADM’s vice president, North America River and Export.

ADM re:source is yet another way to help producers stay ahead of the curve and ensure export markets remain an important revenue source for their operations.

The first program offered under ADM re:source is the Deforestation-free Soybean Certification Program, which offers producers a premium of up to $0.20 on each bushel delivered through the program.

With ADM re:source, producers can rest easy knowing they’ll have the resources they need to adapt and continue to benefit from access to global export markets.
