Producers Show Well at Farm Progress Show
The Decatur weather could not have been more perfect for this year’s Farm Progress Show which ran August 29-31. Pleasant conditions and beautiful blue skies seemed to put attendees in a relaxed and upbeat mood. And, judging by attendance in the ADM tent, many producers were interested in learning more about how ADM’s product and service offerings could benefit their operations.
Show attendees were treated to an ADM hospitality tent that featured a variety of areas where conversations could happen, special presentations and debut videos were presented, and guests could take a break from their lengthy walking around the vast show grounds.
Stage presentations covered a variety of important producer topics including:
- Navigating the Risks and Rewards of the Current Ag Markets
- BiOWiSH Crop Liquid
- Regenerative Ag Programs Designed with Producers in Mind
Interspersed between presentations, ADM was proud to debut four new videos featuring Central Illinois producers who live not far from Farm Progress Show. There was a new Faces of Food video featuring Susie Harbaugh and three new Producer Perspectives videos highlighting their regenerative ag practices.
In addition to the wonderful crowd of producers from not only North America but other international countries, ADM was honored to host many governmental officials from the federal, state, and local levels.
Here are a few photos of the many happenings that took place:
A John Deere Gator sits outside the front doors of the ADM tent as a giveaway promotion.
Kiosks showcasing ADM products and services allowed producers to ask questions of friendly representatives and gather more information.
A variety of important presentations by ADM staff and special guests informed and entertained attentive producers wanting to learn more.
A comfortable lounge area invited kids to play and tired guests to kick back and relax after being on their feet all day.
A classic 1935 John Deere tractor, owned by Jim Finnigan from Shirley, Illinois, centered in the middle of the tent caught the attention of young and old admirers.
Whimsical face cutouts of corn, soybeans, wheat, and sunflowers caught the attention of people who enjoyed snapping a photo and sharing it on their social media.
Inside the ADM tent there were also opportunities for producers to sign up for Shift, a 6-lesson online course on today’s farm management principles, as well as enroll in a variety of exciting regenerative ag programs through ADM re:generations.
ADM was pleased to visit with so many of our wonderful producer customers and chat with them about their meaningful questions and concerns. We truly value our relationships and strive to deliver the best products and services that can have a measurable impact to your bottom line. We look forward to seeing you next August 27-29, 2024, at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. Until then, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local ADM representative. We are here to serve you!
