Fortunately, there are several resources designed specifically for farmers and ag professionals to help navigate these challenges. The farm is nothing without you.   • Farm Family Resource Initiative (SIU Medicine): Available only for Illinois farm families, this resource offers 6 free counseling sessions and additional support.
  • Togetherall: A safe, anonymous space to connect, share, and receive support from peers and trained professionals.
  • Farm State of Mind: Funded by the American Farm Bureau, this hub provides mental health resources across the U.S.
    • Includes a state-by-state directory.

 

Canada-Based Support:

  • Call 1-866-FARM-S01 for agriculture-specific, confidential support – available 24/7
  • National Farmer Mental Health Alliance: Provides counselling services to farmers and their families.
  • Ag Talk: A safe, anonymous space for connection and support within the ag and mental health community.
  • Canadian Agricultural Safety Association: Funded by the Farm Credit Canada, this hub offers mental health resources across Canada.
