Cedar Rapids Expands Storage Capacity in Time for Harvest

The ADM Cedar Rapids facility has recently increased its overall corn space by 4+ million bushels by adding a third dumping location and outbound scale to handle an additional 25 trucks per hour.

In addition, Cedar Rapids has extended its operating hours during the busy harvest season so farmers can experience shorter wait times, reduced congestion, and more flexible harvest hours to accommodate different scheduling needs. The new hours are as follows:

MON – FRI 5:00am – 7:00pm
SAT Open
SUN Open
(weekend hours subject to change)

Farmers delivering to ADM Cedar Rapids are also encouraged to download the ADM Wait Time app in order to plan their delivery time more wisely. The app displays approximate truck wait times along with updated unload hours. Simply download the app on the App Store or Google Play.

To assist farmers with pricing their grain, Cedar Rapids is pleased to offer a new Delayed Pricing contract that allows for delivery of corn now with the ability to price it later. The fee is 6¢ per month (prorated from the day the corn is delivered). Reach out to your local ADM representative to learn more about this and other grain contracts.
