Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR)
Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR)
Overview
The CFR is an integral part of Canada’s climate plan, aiming to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels and promote the use of cleaner technologies. It requires fuel producers and importers to gradually reduce the carbon intensity of liquid fossil fuels by 15% below 2016 levels by 2030.
ADM is actively engaged in the CFR regulations, focusing on sustainable agricultural practices and the production of low-carbon-intensity feedstocks. By collaborating with you, ADM aims to facilitate compliance with the CFR and enhance the sustainability of agricultural operations.
